install SUN JDK on Ubuntu

Tested on 10.04 Lucid

To check the version
lsb_release -a

1, sudo apt-get install python-software-properties
2, sudo add-apt-repository “deb http://archive.canonical.com/ lucid partner”
3, sudo apt-get update
4, sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdk
5, sudo update-java-alternatives -s java-6-sun (optional)
6, normally we will need to set up the JAVA_HOME too
vi $HOME/.bash_profile and add
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun
export PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin
